Above shows a popular boot knife.
This knife has a short clip to its' 4" blade
made from 1/8" thick 440c stainless steel
and is fileworked down the spine of the tang.
The bolsters are from 416 stainless.
Handle scales are ironwood and are further embellished
by 416 stainless handle pins.
Price for a similar piece is USD$150.
All boot knives are fitted with a custom hand stitched leather sheath.
Below shows a different style of boot knife
with a reverse curve blade.
This knife has a short clip with a 5" blade made from
3/16" thick raindrop damascus steel and is
fileworked down the spine of the tang.
The bolsters are from 416 stainless.
Handle scales are dyed and stabilized maple burl
and are further embellished by mosaic handle pins.
Price for a similar piece is USD$300.
